About Grove
Grove is the editorial front door to the Cinderlit knowledge network — a warm, reading-forward site that helps you find gardens worth spending time in.
What is a garden?
A digital garden is a personal website of interconnected notes — ideas that grow over time, linked together, published at varying stages of maturity. Not a blog (chronological), not a wiki (comprehensive). A place for thinking in public.
What is Resought?
Resought is the discovery engine behind the network. It crawls garden manifests, indexes nodes and citations, and powers the stumble experience. Grove reads from Resought's public API — it has no database of its own.
How to participate
Publish a garden.jsonmanifest at your site root (or /.well-known/garden.json), set discoverable: true, and submit your garden to the network.
Design philosophy
No follower counts. No view counts. No trending labels. Grove is designed for calm discovery — the kind of browsing that feels like walking through a grove, not scrolling a feed.
